Curriculum Developer – New Link College – Burnaby, BC Full Time

Responsibilities

• Update, modify, and develop both in-class and online teaching materials for program delivery;
• Be in charge of the creation and maintenance of textbooks, PowerPoint slides, teacher training cloud, and specialized materials for various courses and programs at New Link College;
• Conduct statistical analyses to make sure courses and programs New Link College offered are cost-effective;
• Facilitate the curriculum of courses, maintain existing learning content, and provide professional assessment and evaluation;
• Help to develop and curate new programs, structure, and content tailored for needs of students at New Link College;
• Provide training, professional development, and consultation to instructors in accordance with established policy;
• Intervene in the matters of student performance as required, providing interpretations of procedures and regulations;
• Manage multiple deadlines by prioritizing tasks and overseeing curriculum development projects;
• Contribute to conduct research, administrate education policies and manage programs;
• Other duties as required or apparent to ensure academic and professional standards and effective administration in BC

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in education or related field is required;
• Three years of teaching experience or curriculum development is required;
• Research experience is preferred;
• Publications and presentations are preferred;
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
