We have an immediate opening for an organized, self starter for a part time Secretary/Administrative Assistant position, who has bookkeeping knowledge. This position is responsible for secretarial support and office administrative support to the Principal, which includes some commercial property management, accounts receivable and payable, together with full cycle bookkeeping for various companies. Hours can be varied but will typically be approximately 16 hours per week. Opportunity for additional hours/work if applicant has knowledge of QuickBooks Online as well.
We require someone with:
– Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel
– prior secretarial/administrative support to an Executive is necessary
– Sage 50 accounting program (minimum 3 yrs)
– Online banking, including bill pays, etransfers, wire transfers, etc.
– Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and scanners
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
To start, the position would be our office with the ability to work from home once established. Hourly wage will be based on experience.
Part-time hours: 16 – 20 hours per week
