Job Description – UNITED AUTO TRANSPORT INC. in Surrey, BC requires four full time / permanent AUTOMOBILE TRANSPORT TRUCK DRIVERS to join operations immediately.

JOB DUTIES:

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Load and unload goods, Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform emergency roadside repairs

Transportation/Travel Information – Willing to travel cross-border; Willing to travel for extended periods; Willing to travel overnight; Valid driver’s licence; Willing to travel internationally

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities – Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Sitting

Experience – At least one year of experience is required.
