Job Summary
We are seeking a Necropsy technician for our Histopathology department site located Laval (Greater Montreal area) in Canada.
The following are responsibilities related to the Necropsy technician :
Perform technical procedures used in necropsy of all species and routine histology;
Perform necropsy tasks such as : Tissue trimming, organ weight recording, tissue collection and preservation;
Prepare study book;
Operate necessary laboratory equipments.
The following are minimum qualifications related to the Necropsy Technician position :
Collegial Diploma in Animal Health Care, Biology, Bioecology or equivalent;
Reading of English is required. Bilingualism is preferable;
Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change;
Ability to work in a team environment.
