Software Engineer in Tools and Infrastructure – Delivery Engineering – Tigera, Inc – Vancouver, BC Full Time

About Your Role

You will be joining our Delivery Engineering team. You will work closely with the other software engineers to deliver products on time and to quality while managing and communicating risks. To do this, you will design, implement and maintain automated provisioners on different cloud platforms, installers on K8s clusters, CI pipelines, automated test frameworks, manage projects and delivery plans, write delivery automation tooling. You should have a passion for automation and quality, enjoy performance benchmarking, and performing exploratory tests.

You Have

3+ years of industry experience in software development, delivery engineering, and/or DevOps

Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (highly desired)

Linux sysadmin and networking

Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible

Coded CI tools like Semaphore CI, Circle CI, etc.

A breadth of programming languages, SDKs, and test frameworks. Highly desirable: Go (Golang), Python, Ginkgo

Scripting experience with tools like Make, Go-Task (highly desired), Bash/Shell

Defining and implementing end-to-end CI pipelines, automated test frameworks, and automated tests

Experience working on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Nice to Have

Experience with K8s platforms like AKS, EKS, GKE, Rancher, OpenShift, etc.

Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana

Experience with application performance benchmarking
