UI/UX Developer – StandardFusion – Vancouver, BC Full Time

What will you be doing?

• Create original graphic designs and graphic user interface elements to ensure great user experience.
• Translate customer and team needs into functional, intuitive and appealing applications.
• Present prototypes of design and functionality to teams and stakeholders.
• Design and implement distributed software services and solutions to support company-wide initiatives.
• Develop new UI and other front-end functionality for our application.
• Collaborate with other developers, and departments to design and create technical solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Promote good modern software engineering practices through design and code reviews.
• Be a team player who enjoys collaborating with, learning from, mentoring, and teaching other team members to create a positive work environment.
• Optimize applications for speed and responsiveness and troubleshoot problems based on user feedback.

What skills do you need?

• Solid understanding of PCs and Windows
• Experience with UI/UX Design and portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of graphics, design, or wireframing tools
• Experience with .NET (C# or VB), MVC, Visual Studio and other Microsoft-centric development technologies
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical problems with hardware, software, and networking
• Impeccable written and spoken English language skills
• BONUS: Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databases
• BONUS: Experience with Linux-based operating systems and tools
• BONUS: Experience with hosting websites, managing servers, or working with AWS, Azure, etc.

Salary: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
